Data and code for: Cutting-depth accuracy and fuel use of a spud-anchored backhoe dredger with a rock drum cutter in port and coastal waters
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the data and code for the article “Cutting-depth accuracy and fuel use of a spud-anchored backhoe dredger with a rock drum cutter in port and coastal waters” by Van Hien Nguyen and Van Hai Trinh (submitted to the Journal of Marine Science and Technology). The study simulates a 20-t-class backhoe dredger whose bucket is replaced by a transverse rock drum cutter. Discrete element (DEM) cutting loads drive a hydraulic–multibody model of the excavator and its diesel engine. Water loads act on the submerged cutter. A six-degree-of-freedom model of the spud-anchored pontoon is excited by the cutting reaction and by irregular waves. Contents carried over from version 1 Drum-centre trajectory and cylinder references of the 240.88 s duty cycle. Conditioned DEM wrench histories for the three cutting scenarios. Controller, learning and engine-speed scheduling code, with the command lines of all runs. Per-run metrics. Added in version 2 (Bai1_JMST_zenodo_bosung.zip and the k123_EG2W_r01–r03.csv logs) pontoon_waves/: linear six-degree-of-freedom model of the spud-anchored pontoon under the cutting wrench. It also includes the wave response (Froude–Krylov excitation, JONSWAP spectra) and the limiting significant wave heights, with results. water_run/: wrapper that adds buoyancy, drag and rotational resistance of the submerged cutter, the four-round run of configuration EG2 with water loads (10 ms logs, per-round summary, console log), and the batch file. normal_error/: script for the drum-centre error normal to the face, with results for the dry and submerged runs. See README.md in the zip for file descriptions and requirements (Python 3 with numpy, scipy and pandas). The Amesim model and the exported FMU depend on licensed libraries and cannot be redistributed; their parameters are given in the article and its Online Resource 1.
