资源简介:
In vitro and in vivo data sets generated in these files contribute to our knowledge of understanding full-thickness cutaneous injury and translational approaches to limit and potentially reverse detrimental sequelae such as scarring. Phototherapy utilizing photoactive compounds has been used for several decades as a treatment to reduce cutaneous inflammation. Rose bengal is a photoactivated dye that produces reactive oxygen species when irradiated with monochromatic green light. The photomechanism of RB has the potential to crosslink collagen fibrils and thus, may improve cutaneous wound healing. We hypothesize that RB phototherapy will close full thickness wounds faster and bring skin closer to homeostasis than standard therapies. Data sets herein pertain to in vivo studies conducted to define molecular mechanisms involved in RB PDT. Data sets will also be made available by contacting the author directly.
