This dataset contains transcriptions specifically coded for hedging strategies, based on Fraser's (2010) framework. It includes 29 interviews and 25 focus group meetings, thoroughly analyzed for the use of hedging devices. The original recordings are sourced from the Corpus IST-Erasmus, but this dataset focuses solely on the hedging analysis, offering insights into pragmatic strategies in English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) interactions.
