DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND GREEN FINANCE: A SYNERGISTIC PATHWAY TO SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH

In the context of accelerating climate change and rapid technological advancement, the integration of digital transformation and green finance has become increasingly important for achieving sustainable economic growth. This paper investigates the synergistic relationship between digital technologies and green financial systems, emphasizing their combined contribution to environmental sustainability, economic resilience, and inclusive development. Using a qualitative methodology based on a systematic literature review, the study analyzes recent academic contributions to identify the mechanisms, impacts, and challenges of this integration. The findings indicate that digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, blockchain, and financial technology (FinTech) significantly enhance the efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of green finance. Moreover, the synergy between these two domains fosters innovation, reduces environmental risks, and improves capital allocation toward sustainable projects. However, challenges such as regulatory gaps, digital inequality, and greenwashing risks remain significant barriers. The paper concludes that a coordinated approach involving policymakers, financial institutions, and technological innovators is essential to maximize the benefits of digital transformation and green finance.
