Value added of cultural industries in Italy 2019-2023, by segment

The value added of cultural industries in Italy grew in 2023 over the previous year. Overall, the video games and software market reported the highest value added, amounting to roughly 16.7 billion euros in 2023. That year, the books, printed media, and publishing market and the music and audiovisual industry generated a value added of around 11.6 billion and 6.4 billion euros, respectively.
