we have little information concerning the molecular mechanism of the growth and development of skeletal muscle with different myofibers in Shaziling pigs. Therefore, we performed RNA-seq analysis on the longissimus dorsi muscle (LM, glycolytic) and soleus muscle (SM, oxidative) of Shaziling pigs at birth, 30 postnatal days, and 300 postnatal days to explore the expression profiles of lncRNAs and circRNAs. Simultaneously, we have also explored potential lncRNAs and circRNAs related to muscle development and muscle fibers. This study may contribute to the advantageous information for improving meat quality traits in Shaziling pigs.
