The project is focused on assessing the genetic health of endemic Begonia species from the Socotra archipelago, using present day and historical herbarium specimens to follow the evolution of population-level genetic health in an insular context. NGS target enrichment dataset of Begonia conchifolia, B. plebeja, B. socotrana, and B. samhaensis. Baits used are sequences of B. luzhaiensis and B. conchifolia.
