资源简介:

This dataset evaluates the immediate effects of short-duration transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on thalamocortical evoked responses under two brain states: awake and anesthetized. Each subject underwent two recording sessions—one while awake and another under isoflurane anesthesia—using the same stimulation protocol to assess within-subject differences. In both sessions, brief tDCS pulses (15 seconds total) were applied at varying intensities and polarities. Each tDCS train included: 5 seconds ramp-up 5 seconds plateau at target intensity 5 seconds ramp-down Stimulation was delivered at eight different intensities: Cathodal: −50, −100, −150, −200 µA Anodal: +50, +100, +150, +200 µA A minimum of 10 trials per intensity was acquired to ensure statistical robustness. VPM thalamic stimulation was applied throughout the protocol to evoke cortical responses in S1. These pulses had a duration of 50 µs and were delivered at a submaximal intensity, previously calibrated for each animal to elicit a response ~50% of the maximum possible amplitude. This allows detection of both facilitative and suppressive modulation by tDCS. The goal of this protocol was to investigate state-dependent and polarity-dependent effects of short tDCS trains on thalamocortical signal transmission. Access before the embargo ends: the files are under embargo until 30 June 2027. To request access before then, email Ricardo Salvador (ricardo.salvador@neuroelectrics.com) with a short description of the intended use.
