Organ-differential Regulation of Vascular Development by DEAD-box Helicase 24

The goal of this study is to understand the molecular mechanisms by which DDX24 regulates vascular development in an organ-specific manner. To this end, we performed RNA sequencing on HUVECs and HCMECs transfected with either DDX24 siRNA or control siRNA and compared the expression levels of genes involved in angiogenesis Overall design: mRNA profiles were generated from HUVECs and HCMECs transfected with either DDX24 or control siRNA. Total RNA was extracted from collected cells, and cDNA libraries were constructed for sequencing. Samples were prepared in duplicate and sequenced using the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform
