Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) cell wall structured illumination microscopy (SIM) fluorescence images and annotated instance segmentation masks dataset of Wild Type (WT) and treated with antibiotic PC190723, a FtsZ inhibitor that prevents cell division and results in enlarged bacteria, split into training and test subsets. Data used in the ReScale4DL project hosted at https://github.com/HenriquesLab/ReScale4DL.
