Data and Code for “A ~700-Year Shift from Natural to Anthropogenic Control in China’s Largest Freshwater Lake”

This project hosts the datasets and analysis code associated with the research article<i> “A ~700-Year Shift from Natural to Anthropogenic Control in China’s Largest Freshwater Lake.” </i>It provides environmental and human activity data for the Poyang Lake region covering both the historical period (1350–1970) and the modern period (1986–2022). It also includes R scripts for the regression models used to quantify the relative contributions of environmental variability and anthropogenic interventions to changes in lake volume across these two distinct periods.
