Variation in leaf economics spectrum between plant functional types and the coordination with vein density in subtropical urban forests
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains measurements of 10 leaf economic traits and 4 hydraulic traits across 53 woody species from subtropical urban forests. Traits include photosynthetic rate (Amass), leaf nitrogen and phosphorus contents (LNC, LPC), leaf mass per area (LMA), leaf thickness, leaf carbon content (LCC), leaf carbon-to-nitrogen ratio (LCN), photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE), leaf water content (LWC), vein density (VD), stomatal density (SD), water use efficiency (WUE), and stomatal conductance (gsw). Comparative analyses were conducted across species differing in leaf habit (evergreen vs. deciduous) and growth form (trees vs. shrubs). This dataset can be used for studies on plant functional traits, urban forest ecology, and trait-based biodiversity analysis.
