This BioProject investigates how different rates of biochar amendment influence microbial community structure, assembly dynamics, network topology, and hydrocarbon degradation performance in soils contaminated with aged petroleum hydrocarbons. High throughput 16S rRNA gene sequencing was performed on soil samples collected over an 86 day incubation period under three biochar treatments.
