Effects of nano-titanium dioxide stress on transcriptome of thorax of Bombus terrestris

The accumulation of Titanium dioxide nanoparticles in environment became a potential threat to the health of aquatic animals and pollinators insects. Bumblebee was efficient pollinator and new model of ecotoxicology for special morphological and biological characteristics. However, the effect of TiO2 NPs in environment on bumblebee is lacking. Herein, the 3-day acute and 15-day chronic toxicity of the worker microcolony of bumblebee as Bombus terrestris after exposure to three concentrations of TiO2 NPs were evaluated.
