Abstract

This dataset contains simulation results used to evaluate the linearity error of output amplitude as a function of input charge for different biasing currents. The data were generated using parametric sweeps of the input signal amplitude and processed with a linearity error evaluation method based on deviation from an ideal linear response. The dataset supports the results presented in Figures 3 and 5.

Description of the Data

The dataset consists of two CSV files:

1. linerr_fld.csv

This file corresponds to Figure 3, which presents the linearity error of output amplitude for selected biasing current values.

X-axis (input charge):
Column:

leafValue(linearityErrorPercentage(swapSweep(vampl "qmax") idealLinearSignalFirstLast(swapSweep(vampl "qmax"))) "ivary" 3e-06) X

Y-axis (linearity error, %):

3 × 10-6 A

6 × 10-6 A

12 × 10-6 A

20 × 10-6 A

2. linerr_inv.csv

This file corresponds to Figure 5, which presents the linearity error of output amplitude for another set of biasing current values.

X-axis (input charge):
Column:

leafValue(linearityErrorPercentage(swapSweep(vampl "qmax") idealLinearSignalFirstLast(swapSweep(vampl "qmax"))) "ivary" "20u") X

Y-axis (linearity error, %):

20 µA

12 µA

6 µA

3 µA

Methodology

The data were generated through simulation using a parametric sweep of the input signal amplitude (vampl, parameter "qmax"). For each biasing current value (ivary), the output signal was compared with an ideal linear response defined by the first and last points of the sweep (idealLinearSignalFirstLast).

The linearity error was calculated using a percentage-based metric (linearityErrorPercentage), representing the deviation of the simulated output amplitude from the ideal linear characteristic.

Data Structure

Format: CSV (comma-separated values)

Each file contains:

One column representing input charge (X-axis)

Multiple columns representing linearity error values (Y-axis), each corresponding to a specific biasing current

Column names reflect the simulation workflow and parameterization.

Notes

Units of current are expressed in amperes (A) or microamperes (µA).

The dataset is intended for reproducibility of figures and validation of simulation results.
