资源简介:
The 'Pregnant Pause' campaign was an education-intervention programme designed to reduce inappropriate drug use, including smoking and alcohol use by women during pregnancy. The campaign, which was conducted in Newcastle, was regarded as a pilot programme and evaluated as a model of health education using a pre- and post-testing design, with Wollongong as the comparison area. Programme components consisted of a media campaign, a community education programme, a telephone information service, an education programme for health professionals, pre-natal support services and a stop smoking programme.
