Experimental simulation in a high-pressure triphasic reactor of pure hydrogen storage in a deep aquifer where the rock would be composed solely of calcite. The formation water originates from well AB_L_1, located on the periphery of a natural gas underground storage (UGS) in a deep aquifer. The evolution of the microbial community was monitored over time by targeting the 16S rRNA gene through high-throughput sequencing (MiSeq).
