ACS Earnings by Occupation Centroids
收藏资源简介:
Overview This feature service provides geographic representations of American Community Survey earnings data organized by occupation. It includes multiple boundary layers for states, counties, and census tracts, each carrying a rich set of occupation-based earnings estimates for full-time, year-round civilian workers ages 16 and over. Feature Layers State — State-level geographic features with earnings measures and margin of error values for a wide range of occupational groups, supporting statewide comparisons of workforce earnings patterns. County — County-level geographic features with the same occupation earnings profile, along with the parent state name, enabling substate analysis and local comparisons. Tract — Census tract features with occupation earnings estimates, county and state context, and detailed local-income information for neighborhood-scale analysis. Geographic Coverage The service covers the United States at multiple administrative scales, from states to counties and census tracts. The spatial extent reflects nationwide coverage across U.S. territories represented in the service. Use Cases Compare median earnings across occupations by geography. Map spatial patterns in occupational pay at state, county, or neighborhood scale. Support workforce, labor market, equity, and regional economic studies. Provide a ready-to-use layer for cartography and reporting in ArcGIS applications. Data Notes The attributes are based on American Community Survey estimates and include associated margins of error, making the service useful for both visualization and statistical interpretation of earnings trends.
