Data 2. 18srRNA Species Tree Newick

Phylogenetic species tree. Members of <i>Fabacea </i>(Blue) and <i>Brassicacea </i>(Red), <i>Marchantiaceae </i>(Gray, outgroup). Species are further grouped into Fungal-Associated (Green) and Non-Mycorrhizal (Purple). Based on 18s Small Subunit Ribosomal  RNA sequences obtained through keyword search on GenBank and NCBI blastn in species’ genomes. Sequences aligned using MUSCLE through AliView, trimmed to shortest contiguous length, and exported in FASTA format to RAxML-ng. Tree constructed using GTR+G model seed 54321, <i>M.polymorpha</i> manually selected as outgroup.
