Glass Imitations of Stones in the Roman Period and their Reinterpretation in the Modern Era (PID2020-117299GB-I00), acronym LAPISVITRUMQUE [Dataset]

The forms collect information on the pieces included in the Project “Glass Imitations of Stones in the Roman Period and their Reinterpretation in the Modern Era” (PID2020-117299GB-I00), acronym: LAPISVITRUMQUE, funded by MCIN/ AEI/10.13039/501100011033. There are three forms: one for glass (Tabla_vidrio), another for precious and ornamental stones (Tabla_piedras), and a third that relates the two (Tabla_correlacion). The first two include data related to the pieces themselves and the third seeks to compare glass and stone through various filters by set, group, class, colour and quality. This form is constantly being updated as new information is added. In the case of glass, it can be used to determine the shapes imitated in their decoration and the type of ornamental rocks or precious stones they imitate. And in the case of stone productions (instrumenta domestica, personal ornaments, etc.) to contrast their appearance or not in glass.
