<i>Supporting data for “Essay in Behavioral Economics"</i>

This dataset was collected as part of a research project investigating how individuals allocate attention and make purchasing decisions under different hypothetical shopping scenarios. It's approved by the HREC in HKU (EA240560). The survey targeted adult participants (aged 18 or above), and all respondents provided informed consent via Prolific. Participants were randomly assigned to one experimental groups, each presented with a slightly different scenario about buying a laptop at varying prices and locations. Sensitive information such as participant names is not included.<br>
