资源简介:

This release includes the cad files, Abaqus inp files, MATLAB notebooks, raw experimental data and excel files used to elaborate the plots associated with the paper: Mora S., Pugno N.M., and Misseroni D. "Programming the energy landscape of 3D-printed Kresling origami via crease geometry and viscosity." Extreme Mechanics Letters (2025): 102314. (DOI: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.eml.2025.102314) The data supporting the findings of this study is organized and summarized into the following folders, each containing its corresponding contents: 1. Cad files: Inventor File with parametric design to generate Kresling cells, in scale x1 (*.ipt). Parasolid file, which can be scaled for 3D printing (*.x_b). 2. Abaqus inp files Example of Abaqus input file for FEA (*.inp). Case 8, RF=0.80, scale x3. P.S. We provide an example of a simulation. If anyone is interested in other cases, please feel free to contact us and request them via email at diego.misseroni@unitn.it. 3. Experimental raw data: Raw experimental data taken from Messphysik μ-strain loading frame machine (from ZwickRoell, 0.01 µm stroke measurement resolution). The applied Load F and displacement u were measured with a AEP TYPE F1-1kN load cell and with a displacement transducer mounted internally to the testing machine, respectively. 4. MATLAB notebook files: Calculation of Prony parameters from stress relaxation tests using a Prony series function (Levenberg–Marquardt method). Initial sizing of Kresling cells to determine whether the selected geometrical configuration is bistable. The 5-parameters method was used. 5. Excel files: Summary of FEA and Experimental Load paths and energy landscapes, used for generating Fig.2,3,4. Summary of Material characterization data from uniaxial and stress relaxation tests.
