Ovarian Stainology: Database of evidence-based immunohistochemical antigen expression in ovarian tumors

This dataset represents the version of the Ovarian Stainology database described in the publication Gruszczyński et al. (submitted). A continuously updated version is hosted at https://stainology.cs.put.poznan.pl, where the data can be searched, filtered, and downloaded. The deposit includes seven versions of the database (the raw extraction output and the outputs after each of the six post-processing steps, from raw.csv to the final stainology_database.csv), a metadata file for all retrieved studies (papers_metadata.csv), and a ground-truth file of 535 tumor terms manually mapped by two certified pathologists (tumor_classification_gt.csv). The project team welcomes community contributions. Researchers who wish to submit a relevant ovarian IHC study that is not yet included, or that is only partially represented (e.g., extracted from an abstract alone), are encouraged to contact the project team through the project website (https://stainology.cs.put.poznan.pl); the full-text PDF and the corresponding PubMed ID (PMID) are sufficient for a study to be considered. The database is planned to be continuously extended to incorporate newly published and submitted studies. The resource was developed by researchers affiliated with the Poznan University of Technology and the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, together with collaborators from the Warsaw University of Technology and the Swedish Veterinary Agency (see 'Creators').
