The effect of drought, rust infection and drought-rust infection combination was evaluated in a time series approach in the Lombardi poplar. Leaf samples were collected at experimental days 1, 4, 7, 10, 13 and 16. Drought treatment started at day -1, while rust infection started at day 9. Three biological replicates (pooled 3 leaves per replicate) were collected at each time point and treatment. WGBS and mRNA-seq data was performed to evaluate the stress interaction effects.
