The elevation grid plus geoid describes the elevation differences between ellipsoid GNSSH heights in the ETRS89/GRS80 system and usage heights in the elevation reference system “Military Geographic Institute (MGI)” with reference to Trieste/Adria 1875 (H. ü. The product consists of the two parts:
(a) Height grid plus geoid
The height grid plus geoid enables the transformation of ellipsoidal heights in the ERTS89/GRS80 system at heights of the MGI with reference to Adria 1875 (use heights H.ü.A.) in one step.

(B) Correction values of the altitude fixed points to the altitude grid
The correction values KLFP to the height grid are used to correct the usage heights contained in the point maps of the position points in order to achieve conformity with the usage heights derived by means of GNSS measurements, geoidundulations and height grid.
