This dataset contains mechanical property data for SAE 8660 steel subjected to conventional quenching and tempering, austempering, and modified austempering treatments. The deposited data include yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, elongation, and hardness values used to support the mechanical property comparisons reported in the associated study.
