This article discusses the diagnostic tools and corrective methods used in students’ spiritual and moral education within higher education institutions. The study emphasizes that spiritual and moral education is a purposeful pedagogical process aimed at shaping students’ ethical values, social responsibility, spiritual maturity, and positive behavior. Particular attention is given to the importance of pedagogical diagnosis in identifying students’ moral awareness, value orientation, interpersonal relations, and social activity. The article analyzes major diagnostic tools such as observation, questionnaires, interviews, self-assessment, sociometric analysis, and psychological-pedagogical testing. In addition, it highlights the role of corrective methods including educational conversation, persuasion, positive example, reflective practice, individual counseling, participation in socially useful activities, and the creation of a morally healthy educational environment.
