资源简介:
Artifical prey items were created to resemble bird nests, the four lined tree frog (Polypedates leucomystax), the seeds of the cempedak (Artocarpus champeden) and the late instar caterpillar of Papilio polytes. Tropical montane forests trails of varying levels of degradation within three montane regions (Fraser's Hill, Cameron Highlands and Lojing Highlands) in Peninsular Malaysia were selected. The 8 sites include rural, primary and secondary forest sites, and a tea plantation. Artifical prey items were placed along the trails with replicates 100m apart and left for three nights. Any evidence of predation upon the artificial prey was recorded.
