Rieger et al. (1972) described the soils of Caribou-Poker Creeks Research Watershed, near Fairbanks, Alaska. Permafrost soils were described and a map of their distribution created. This dataset consists of a digitized spatial data layer of the original permafrost map in ESRI shapefile format.
