Hydrogen production share in the UK by method 2019

Steam methane reforming from natural gas is the most common method of producing hydrogen in the United Kingdom. As of 2019, methane reforming accounted for nearly half of total production, with electrolysis, a zero-carbon emitting procedure, only accounting for just four percent.
