Level of personal concern for possible developments worldwide 2021

According to a survey conducted between the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021, deteriorating mental and/or physical health was perceived to be a real threat by 62 percent of the respondents. In particular, 44 percent of the people interviewed saw it as a somewhat real threat for them or their family in the next 12 months. Moreover, three out of five individuals across the world perceived loss of income or employment, and more frequent weather-related natural disasters as real threats. In contrast, only one third of the respondents were worried about increasing difficulty in accessing digital tools and technology.
