Young people in Norway suffering from depressive symptoms 1996-2015, by gender

This statistic shows the result on a survey on young people in Norway suffering from depressive symptoms in selected years from 1996 to 2015, by gender. The share of young people suffering from depressive symptoms increased for boys and girls over this period. In 1996, 27 percent of boys and 35 percent of girls were affected. In 2015, the share of boys suffering from depressive symptoms had grown to 30 percent, while the share was 55 percent of girls.
