The power spectral model, as one of the tools for characterizing seismic ground motions, is widely used in stochastic structural dynamic analysis. However, most of these models don’t consider the effects of magnitude and distance at the bedrock level. Therefore, this study aims to develop a power spectral model accounting for the effects of magnitude and distance. To this end, 1610 actual seismic motions recorded on 65 bedrock sites were selected to analyse the effects of magnitude and epicentral distance on the bedrock power spectrum. Finally, a bedrock power spectral model incorporating magnitude and epicentral distance was constructed.
