Knockin mice were created that contained a point mutation that elminated the requisite GT in the 5' donor site of each of the NCoR? or NCoRd splice variants, thus preventing splicing at that site and forcing splicing of the reciprocal splice variant. Overall design: Adult C57BL/6N (W?) mice and NCoR?-/- (OKO) or NCoRd-/- (DKO) mice were fed a 60% kcal fat (HFD, Research Diets #D12492 )or 10% kal fat (LFD, Research Diets #D12450B) diet for 17 weeks. Liver samples were collected and analyzed for gene expression.
