In this study, the microbial community from four independent corridors of a typical municipal WWTP were biweekly monitored as the sole feature of the WWTP. To avoid the bias of specific sampling site or season, annual sampling strategy was adopted in the present study. The main purpose of the study is to clarify the spatial properties and dynamics of the microbial community in typical municipal WWTPs.
