EVORA-MA: A Provenance-Rich, Temporally Harmonized Dataset of Moroccan Public Indicators and Broadcast-News Metadata for Socio-Economic Research

EVORA-MA is a provenance-rich, temporally harmonized public dataset designed to support socio-economic research on Moroccan public indicators and broadcast-news metadata. The release consolidates 97,572 harmonized observations into 744 reconstructed time series derived from 61 datasets and 407 resources published through Morocco’s national open-data portal, data.gov.ma, by four public-data producers. It includes reusable DuckDB, Parquet, and CSV representations, resource-level provenance, source and license registries, indicator dictionaries, validation summaries, and two reusable core panels: monthly indicators from Bank Al-Maghrib and quarterly indicators from the Haut-Commissariat au Plan. The public-indicator records cover the period from September 1993 to July 2024. The release also provides metadata for 2,104 Moroccan television news bulletins derived from the previously published Aloula News Dataset - Moroccan TV (Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.15858938). The bulletin-metadata component covers the period from April 2018 to June 2025 and contains bulletin titles, parsed publication dates, broadcast slots, stable record locators, and monthly and quarterly temporal summaries. It does not redistribute transcripts, raw texts, audio, video, or media URLs. This deposit is not a mirror of the original portal resources. It publishes harmonized observations, reconstructed series, reusable panels, provenance records, dictionaries, validation summaries, and standalone scripts for verification and reproduction. Database tables and data.gov.ma-derived components are released under the Open Data Commons Open Database License v1.0. EVORA-MA-authored documentation and descriptive metadata are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Public scripts are released under the MIT License.
