This project investigated the composition and activity of bacterial and viral communities associated with agricultural soil. Plots employing two crop management practices were sampled across three soil compartments, at three growth stages. Viral-size fractionated metagenomes (DNA viromes), paired total metagenomes, and metatranscriptomes were generated from the samples.
