A dataset of crop yields and exports of C, N, P, K, and Mg over 9 years at the EFELE long-term field-experiment site

This dataset contains data on the yield and export of C, N, P, K, and Mg of the crops planted from 2012-2020 in the PROs and TS/MO experiments at the EFELE long-term field-experiment site. The crop rotation monitored during this period contained forage maize and wheat followed by a cover crop of white mustard. The dataset also contains the rotation’s agricultural practices; applications of N, P, and K in inorganic and organic fertilisers; and daily weather data (i.e. solar radiation, minimum and maximum temperatures, precipitation, and evapotranspiration). The dataset can be used to calculate N-fertilisation values of the organic residues studied, study the replacement rates of inorganic fertilisers by the organic residues, and calculate energy balances, and it can also be useful for calibrating and evaluating simulation models (e.g. STICS, CERES).
