We isolated a pure single colony of Acinetobacter from the gut of Curculio chinensis and a colony of Acinetobacter from Camellia oleifera plantation soil. Previous studies have suggested that Acinetobacter may play a key role in metabolizing toxic substances. To further confirm the function of these strains in the process of metabolizing plant secondary metabolites, whole genome sequencing was performed.
