资源简介:
This dataset (Bolotov et al. 2024b) contains raw images of historical specimens of Hirudinea and full-resolution figures (JPG files) from our article entitled "Nikolaj Livanow’s historical collection sheds new light on potential local extinctions and host association in Hirudinea" (Bolotov et al., 2024a in Ecologica Montenegrina 75: 145-154; https://dx.doi.org/10.37828/em.2024.75.13). These samples were collected in 1891-1902 by N. A. Livanow, E. A. Meyer, and V. P. Garjaew and are deposited in the EEZM – Edward Eversman Zoology Museum and Herbarium, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University (formerly the Zootomy Cabinet Museum of the Imperial Kazan University), Kazan, Russia (Livanow 1906; Meyer 1915). Additionally, we provide a photo of the cabinet with the historical Hirudinea collection in EEZM. A PDF copy of the Hirudinea section of the EEZM historical catalogue (Meyer 1915: pp. 27-28) is also available here.
