Data for the DMC-BrainMap manuscript

This repository contains the data of the DMC-BrainMap manuscript. The data is structured in folders according to the manuscripts' figures. In each folder a plotting_notes.json file can be found specifying the information used to create the initial plots using the DMC-BrainMap software. Each folder contains subfolders containing the data from the respective mice as described in Table 1 of the manuscript. Images are found in the rgb/binary/single_channel folder. Registration data in the sharpy_track folder. Segmentation data in the segmentation folder. The results data in the results folder.
Data for Fig S1-S3 is located in the Fig 3 folder and data for the Fig S4 in the Fig 7 folder. Gene expression data for Fig 7/Fig S4 is provided. Neuropixel data for Fig 4 is provided.
Important:
When downloading the files from figshare, files that share the same name in different folders, get some integer list added to the start of the file name. To correct for this run the rename_figshare_file.py file in the terminal using:
python /rename_figshare_file.py

and enter the directory to the figshare folder you just downloaded.
