Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey at at High Street, Roxton, Bedfordshire, September 2022

This collection comprises geophysics data and georeferenced raster images from an archaeological geophysical survey on a proposed development site on the northern edge of Roxton, Bedfordshire. The survey was undertaken by MOLA Northampton on the 28th September 2022. The aim of the survey was to identify areas of potential archaeological interest that could be disturbed by a proposed development. The survey detected a set of probable tenement or garden plot boundaries, presumably of medieval or post-medieval date, located west of the High Street. It also detected an area of quarried ground, some probable medieval or early post-medieval ridge and furrow, and a possible cluster of undated pits.
