Single cell gene expression of lung cells from the lungs of PLG-nanoparticle treated mice bearing 4T1 tumors

Poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLG) nanoparticles are known to modulate immune cell behavior. We performed single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) to analyze the effects of nanoparticle immunomodulation on the immune microenvironment of the lung in the 4T1 model of murine metastatic triple-negative breast cancer. Lungs were isolated from 4T1-tumor bearing mice receiving 5 doses of nanoparticles or saline over the course of 14 days starting immediately after tumor inoculation. Lungs were processed into a single cell suspension and analyzed by scRNAseq.
