We aimed at analyzing the transcriptome changes associated with MIR205HG knock-down in RWPE-1 cells or overexpression in DU145 cells Overall design: MIR205HG was targeted in RWPE-1 cells by using either a siRNA directed against its RefSeq transcript or a gapmer antisense directed against an intron within its primary transcript (experiments conducted in triplicate). MIR205HG expression was reconstituted in DU145 cells by stably transfecting vectors containing either the full length or the RefSeq sequence (experiments conducted in quadruplicate).
