Metagenomic investigation of the bacterial microbiota associated to Haematococcus spp. upon infection by Paraphysoderma sedebokerense. Haematococcus spp. and Paraphysoderma sedebokerense

Total genomic DNA Illumina paired-end sequencing of laboratory cultures of the green algae Haematococcus pluvialis, Haematococcus rubens, and Haematococcus rubicundus. Six clonal Haematococcus strains were sequenced individually, and one pool of 21 clonal Haematococcus strains Haematococcus was sequenced. For each algal strain, one sample was infected by the blastocladomycete Paraphysoderma sedebokerense and compared to a mock-infected one.
