Pinus contorta and Pinus albicaulis tree ring characteristics, resin duct anatomical measurements, and phloem chemistry

Experiments were performed along a gradient in a high elevation stand in Mountana, USA. Resin duct and increment core measurements from Pinus contorta and Pinus albicaulis. Phenolic, terpenoid, carbohydrate pools, and elemental makeup of phloem is also included. Data include resin ducts collected over time, and phloem chemistry that was constitutive and induced locally by simulated bark beetle attack.
