Passenger revenue of JR West Shinkansen in Japan FY 2014-2023

In the fiscal year ended March 31, 2023, West Japan Railway Company (JR West) earned around 211.6 billion Japanese yen of passenger revenue with its high-speed Shinkansen trains, increasing from 211.6 billion in the preceding fiscal year. Today operated by companies of the Japan Railways Group, the Japanese bullet trains have been renowned worldwide for their reliability regarding speed, punctuality, and safety since the inauguration of the first Shinkansen in 1964.
