Land at Dale Head, Biggin by Hartington, Derbyshire. Archaeological Watching Brief (OASIS IS: archaeol5-384132)

Archaeological Research Services Ltd was commissioned by Simon Johnson in May 2019 to undertake a scheme of works relating to the proposed development at Dale Head, Liffs Road, Biggin by Hartington, Derbyshire. This development consists of the conversion of the former barn into holiday accommodation, extension of a single storey lean-to extension, demilition of an existing garage extension, erection of a two storey garage with ancillary accommodation and alteration of the driveway and parking with widening of the vehicle entrance. Work was carried out between the 27th and 31st January 2020. The work consisted of a continuous watching brief during ground works.
