Direct three-dimensional mass spectrometry imaging of low molecular weight compounds in red radish root with laser ablation remote atmospheric pressure photoionization/chemical ionization (LARAPPI/CI)

The materials include documentation of experiments on three-dimensional mass spectrometry imaging (3D MSI) of metabolites in human and plant tissues using the LARAPPI/CI (Laser Ablation Remote Atmospheric Pressure Photoionization/Chemical Ionization) platform coupled with an ultrahigh resolution QToF (quadrupole-time-of-flight) mass spectrometer.The files contain two parts of raw 3D MSI data from a red radish root, and two parts of raw 3D MSI data from a human kidney tissue form a patient with RCC (renal cell carcinoma). They can be opened using an open-source R package that is freely available. The original data has been split into multi-part Zip files, which can be accessed with free software.The files contain the original UHPLC-HRMS spectra of radish root extracts, recorded using a Bruker Impact II instrument in positive and negative modes. The spectra can be accessed using the free software OpenMS. The original data has been compressed into a ZIP archive, which can be opened with free software.
