For mRNAs that could be modeled using lncRNAs with R2 > = 0.2 and empirical p-value < 0.01, we considered putative lncRNA regulators with OLS p-value < = 1E-10 and pairwise correlation coefficient > = 0.1 in absolute value. Shown are the number of pairs in each category and the number (of those) that are positively correlated. “Non-proximal” refers to pairs on different chromosomes or more than 1 Mbp apart on the same chromosome.
